Hello! I am Suzanna. I live in North Carolina with my husband + my two barefoot boys. You can most often find me outside watercoloring, running with a good audiobook, having watermelon picnics or finding my way to water. I am lit up by lovely words, black + white films and photos, Masterpiece, open windows, fresh cut flowers, bokeh light + dreams of living on Corfu Island.
For all of time, culture has advanced through shared stories + song. Over many of my years on this earth, I have viewed the world through the prism of my camera lens. Today, living in such a visually saturated time, my hope is that my images may be valued as stories to look back on with nostalgia. It begins in our homes. Let’s make sure our kids have photos to dig up, dust off, and remember times past.
You don't make a photograph just with a camera.
You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.
